It turns out that I won't be able to make it to MASP at all this year.
Boo-hoo (note the Halloween reference). In the past I was usually able to
make at least Friday and/or Sat. nights.  I wanted to point out to those of
you who haven't ever been down to MASP that driving down after work and
coming back early the next morning is quite doable, especially if you don't
have to work the next day - hence my predilection for Fri/Sat!  Hope that
quite a few of you can make it - it's pretty dark down there.  Please send
some reports back up as to how it's going.  I'm not sure that MASP and
Halloween have ever coincided.  Things really could go bump in the night,
especially if you are not fully dark adapted.  Have fun.  Walter
