[Chaos-l] Tuesday night at Morehead Planetarium - 7 pm

We are looking forward to seeing the RAC, CHAOS, and Alamance club 
members tomorrow night at 7:00 pm at Morehead Planetarium and Science 
Center.
This is always a fun evening and we hope you will join us - and bring 
your family and friends.

The plan is to gather around 7:00 pm for socializing. The Physics and 
Astronomy folks (Dan Reichart and Brian Pohl) will have the observatory 
open for you to look through the 24" telescope there. By 7:40 we should 
be back in the Star Theater for a tour of 2008-09 sky highlights with 
Amy Sayle. Then we want to spend a little time anticipating the 
International Year of Astronomy (2009) and the ways we might celebrate 
together and share our passion for the stars in programs, observing 
sessions, and special events. 

If these plans run smoothly, by 8:30 or so we can wrap things up and 
adjourn to a neighborhood establishment for more socializing.

A few logistics: On the university campus parking is always an issue. 
Street parking at the meters is free after 6. Our parking lot will cost 
you $1.25/hour. Parking decks on Rosemary Street are that much or more. 
The gift shop will be *closed* for business tomorrow night, but we 
*will* be entering through the gift shop door - and then locking it once 
everyone is back in the theater. (Please plan to return another time for 
cool science stocking stuffers.)

If there are traditions of our club meetings that you would like to 
share with the rest of us, just let me know. If you have any special 
requests, advance notice will certainly facilitate their execution (i.e. 
email me now).
