Everyone,

I don't know if anyone else is off this week and would like to go
observing, but I guess (in honor of Greg Dillon) I need an ancient
photon fix.

Unfortunately, holidays and such get in the way a little.  But at the
moment, it looks like there will be showers Monday morning but then
Tuesday is sunny at Medoc Mountain State Park ... so we could
theoretically get there Monday ... setup and observe Monday and Tuesday
nights ... and then pack up and make it back for New Year's
festivities.   Another possibility is Friday and Saturday night ...
there are predictions for showers on Friday, but I don't know when they
will be an whether they will extend into the evening.

So what does everyone think?  Anyone interested in going to Medoc
Mountain State Park this week?

If we decide to go somewhere over the weekend, I might setup at my Mom's
house in Hillsborough earlier in the week, and folks can come over and
join me if they like.
