It's not too late to go see the CHAOS exhibits and a lot of other stuff at
the Astronomy Days event from 11:30 am to 5 pm tomorrow. Stuart Dunaway has
his usual fantastic astroimages, Jayme has one of the Duke Dynascopes
completely refurbished as well as pictures showing stages of
"rehabilitation", Mike Gallagher has a poster explaining intricacies of
Cassiopea and I have a silly poster about "the people of CHAOS" (don't
worry, they are all fully clothed) and a model involving a bisected
basketball showing the Eratosthenes method of determining the circumference
of the Earth. Everything was well appreciated by the Saturday crowd. So
please join the Sunday crowd and come check it out. I feel obligated to say
that NASA also has an exhibit - please don't make them feel bad by admitting
that you are really there to see the CHAOS exhibit. Thanks to all the CHAOS
members who are participating by contributing to the displays or by manning
the CHAOS tables! Walter
