[Chaos-l] Observing this weekend

Hi all. Based on what the sky clock currently (9:40 am 1/29) says,
tonight looks to be clear but not that transparent. However, up to the
sky clock cut-off of 5:00 PM Friday looks like it will be both very dark
and very transparent. On the other hand, the Wunderground hourly (well,
really every 3 hours, but they call it hourly) forecast for
Friday/Saturday night predicts a bell curve of cloud cover peaking at
40% around 11 PM. Saturday/Sunday is predicted to have less than 10%
cloud cover all night long.
I can't go at all tonight. I've got some unusual constraints on
observing this weekend: i can only spare about 3-4 hours, and with a
broken collar bone i can't lift my own scope. Will somebody be at a
site where one can come and go unrestricted, with a scope they're
willing to share? I have a preference for a site w/in 30-40 minutes
away, so i can get in at least an hour and a half of observing.
However, someplace like Kerr Lake or the CHAOS Dark Site is also
tempting despite the longer drive (and therefore shorter observing).
Thanks.
J.
