[Chaos-l] Friday Observing Session At Medoc Mountain State Park

Everyone,

I was waiting until the weather became a little more predictable ... and 
it looks like it might hold.   I'm planning on going to Medoc Mountain 
State Park this Friday night, and staying the entire night.  The moon 
rises at like 5 AM ... and probably by that time I will be happy to look 
at a crescent moon if I'm not permanently in front of the fire trying to 
warm up.   It will be cold, but I don't want to waste a night around the 
new moon ... and Saturday this weekend will be bad.   Michael's 
description of Monday night makes me hope that the skies will be calm 
Friday as well.   Plus, it will be my first chance to see Comet Lulin.

So come out and join me and Allen Davis!   Let me know if you are 
coming, just so I can expect you and possibly open the gate if you are 
later than 6 PM.
