The imaging group of the Raleigh Astronomy Club meets once a month to
discuss almost all aspects of astrophotography. The group is led by
Steve Izzo. He has asked me to forward the announcement for this month's
meeting to CHAOS, and encourages anyone who is interested to attend.

This is a reminder that we will have our monthly Imaging Group meeting
on Friday, March 6th, at 7pm.

The location is Blinco's on Glenwood Avenue in northwest Raleigh.

Here's a link to directions:

Ken and John Westall are our presenters this month. There presentation
is titled " The NewAstro Zone System: Processing the Stars".

Ken & John will discuss how they use Ron Wodaski's "NewAstro Zone
System" to process their images.

After an overview of the system, Ken will focus on how to process what
Ron calls the "Star Zone". He details ways to shrink them, sharpen them
and fix elongation due to tracking errors.

This is great information we need to help sharpen our processing skills.
We will recess about half way through the discussion and eat so bring an
empty belly!!!!!!!!

For those unable to attend I will video tape the presentation.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Steve Izzo
