I've talked with Mike before and he'd be willing to let us in to observe if we would make the arrangements with him. 

I'd have to talk to him if there would be a time limit. Like up to 11pm. I'll give him a call and see what can be done.

I happened to meet the caretakers and struck up a conversation with   
them Friday night. They live right at the entrance and may be willing   
to let observers in on occasion. I don't have any contact info for the   
ranger but would be willing to spearhead this idea if it has interest   
since I live maybe ten minutes down the road.
