[Chaos-l] Observing the Shuttle Launch Wednesday Night

Everyone,

According to Anne Minard (the person from National Geographic that 
called me) the launch should be visible at about a fist over the horizon 
(or 5 degrees, as Jon pointed out in an earlier post) here in North 
Carolina.   And I just did some triangulation on my mapping software and 
figured out that Cape Canaveral is at a bearing of 191 degrees from the 
Farrington Point boat ramp.  So I'll probably head down about 9 PM 
tomorrow (the launch is scheduled for 9:20 PM) and get situated.   I'll 
probably bring binoculars and perhaps my camera (to try to take a picture).
