I'm hoping to see it up in Cedar Grove. I have a place with a wide open view of the eastern skies. I've seen the shuttle

a couple of times from my backyard. Just clearing the some trees, i t looks like a plane that is book'n.

Jon,

Walter will find this amusing (since he thinks I'm some sort of media "darling") but I just sent off e-mail to Ms. Minard.   We'll see what happens.

Hi all.  The upcoming shuttle launch should be visible all up and down
the eastern seaboard, and Anne Minard would like to know if you're going
to be watching it.  If so, she'd like to talk to you for a National
Geographic article.  You can contact her by phone at 928-607-6952, or
e-mail at anne.minard at gmail.com

Your name in National Geographic: how cool is that?
