Michael,

I'm right in the middle of packing up the main floor of my house for a 
renovation project ... so I can't get away until next week.

While you are at Farrington, perhaps you could download the star charts 
of Orion from http://www.globe.gov/GaN/index.html and take part in the 
"Globe at Night" project and determine what the limiting magnitude and 
light pollution is at Farrington!
