      Our friend, Jim Browder,  is setting up the club's Stellacam on a 10" f/4.7 Orion newtonian.  I will set up my Mallincam on my 10" f/10 lx200 Meade.  It should be a pretty good comparison.  
So, bring some chairs.  I hope you can come.

You are correct ... I did have the email that you sent earlier...I don't know if I just didn't see it or if I forgot.  I get so many emails that occasionally I overlook something. 


Anyway, i have also forwarded info to some of the folks around here.  Don Hale a buddy of mine has expressed some interest.  I will keep in touch this week and let you and John know something.  It sounds like a nice event  allen

John and I live near eachother and close by the event site, about 45 minutes.  I had sent you e-mail about this event previously, about a month ago, sorry if you did not get them. He planned this and it just happened to be the same weekend as IYA 100 hours, international year of astronomy is urging groups to hold 100 consecutive hours of astronomy.  I think a lot of people will be doing other stuff the same weekend for theirs.  It was the only weekend we could have it before star party season started and then NEAF and a local star party outside baltimore called DelMarVa, delaware and maryland and virginia, somewhere near those borders, the last two were in april.  I hope to see you though, just get in touch with us if you come and the weather is bad and need a place to stay.

I know a lot of our club will be there and probably a lot of boy scouts.  One of our members lives at the scout ranch and has kindly agreed to allow use of the place.
