[Chaos-l] FW: Astronomy Day Celebration? (Saturday, May 2nd)

Hi all.  I've heard from Mike DiFabio of Little River Park.  They sound
interested in hosting an AstroDay event, but they have several events at
the park on May 2nd, lasting until about 5:00 PM. There's a possibility
of starting our event around 7:00 to give the others time to clear out.
Mr. DiFabio also suggested May 3rd, or holding it at Cedar Grove Park
(of 86 up near Jayme, i believe).  Another alternative would be to do
something at the Sundial (with permission of Morehead).

 

If you have strong feelings about any of these options, or any ideas or
suggestions, please come talk about them at the meeting tonight.  I told
Mr. DiFabio we'd have a decision of some sort by 9:00 tonight, and if
we're to do any publicity, we need to figure out what where doing where
and when.  It's less than 20 days away!
