[Chaos-l] Buying a scope

Ditto to everything Michael and Robert have said.
Congrats on getting the Orion XT10i. I think these are good scopes
to start.
however, I would like to also emphasize what Michael said about star-
hopping. With the "push-to" capability on the scope, it might be
easy just to dial up stuff and find it. The downside of not star-
hopping would be that you won't learn the sky as well. I have found
great benefit in "treasure" hunting for objects. The reward is great
and you can learn a whole lot about astronomy doing this.
Again...just a suggestion! Enjoy your scope!
