I met a person Jay (Star*Hopper) in online dialog about one of my other hobbies who is also an astronomer and has started a Yahoo discussion group regarding NC Astronomy -StarHeels.  I have joined and read some of the recent posts and I think other CHAOS members may also be interested.  Jay (Star*Hopper) also asked me to invite other astronomers to join.  So check it out if you think you might be interested.  They seem to have a pretty close relationship with MASP and other star parties.  Sims Roy
