[Chaos-l] Upcoming Star Parties

Everyone,

I know most of you are aware of the Mid-Atlantic Star Party ... but 
there are a couple of others I would like to bring to everyone's 
attention.   If you have enough vacation time ... or just time off ... 
perhaps you can make one or more of these ...

STAR QUEST 6 - Greenbank WV from June 24th to June 27th  (yes, this 
coming weekend!   Many times Alice has gone to this)

ALMOST HEAVEN STAR PARTY - Spruce Knob, WV from September 18th to 22nd 
(very dark site, I think Michael Hrivnak is going)

MID-ATLANTIC STAR PARTY - Rollins, NC from October 12th to 18th (note 
website has changed to www.masp.us)

CHIEFLAND STAR PARTY - Chiefland, FL from November 9th to the 15th (I'm 
going with some friends)

And there are a couple of other things that are going on, if you are 
interested:

The Great American Backyard Campout (I will be helping with the program 
at Medoc Mountain State Park) - June 27th
Morehead Planetarium Skywatching Sessions (June 27, July 25, August 12, 
September 19, etc.)
A possible trip to Pettigrew State Park for some really dark observing 
(perhaps in August?)

Usually a group of CHAOS members go to MASP and setup an informal group 
area ... so please put that on your calendars and try to come!

Most of this will be on the CHAOS website calendar ... as well as other 
observing dates for the club.

Come out and join us sometime under the stars!
