Thanks for writing that up and posting it.  I wish I could form a habit of keeping a blog or diary because it sure would help me organize my evenings a bit.

In the Medoc report, I describe my experience trying image-stabilized 
binoculars.  Incredible!  If you do binocular astronomy or just enjoy new
