Matt,
Big Bang closed their retail storefront and is now online-only.
I was at the outer banks just a few days ago and had a really good time with
binos and a small refractor. I just made a blog posting about it which you

If the weather cooperates, I think you'll be glad you brought the telescope,
unless you have big binos. Of course, that's assuming you can work around the
full moon on Friday 9/4.
