[Chaos-l] Club picnic

September 26th is quickly approaching and so is the annual CHAOS club picnic. This year the picnic will be held at my house out in Cedar Grove. That is located in northern Orange county. The skies can be very nice out there depending on the humidity. As usual, after we finish eating and partaking in social activity, we will retire to the back yard for some casual observing. This year I've order something extra special for the picnic. 



An Io transit with the giant red spot in close proximity. 



So make plans to come on out and enjoy some astronomical fellowship and observing. Even if you don't have a telescope come a telescope, come on out and we'll share. I'll have my observatory up and running.
