Border's book store in Cary has the large, hardback edition of this book, which retails for $50, on sale for $9.99:

http://www.amazon.com/Universe-Robert-Dinwiddie/dp/0756636701

It's really quite excellent, and was published in '05.

The soft cover edition of this book is also there:

for $4.99! Yes, for less than the cost of a ham sandwich. Crazy. I bought them both. $15 for two beautiful volumes of everything from constellation charts, moon atlases to Hubble images

I have no idea why but I'm not complaining. I'm especially pleased with the first one, the hard back. It's jam packed with all kinds of great stuff, and the layout, graphics, charts and everything else are superb. For $9.99
