Happy New Year!

Well the clock is ticking down to the end of the year and the International Year of Astronomy is coming to an end. I feel that we have done well sharing the beauty of the night skies with the general public. I know that many of you have attended events and shared with others your passion of astronomy. Well done.

Coming up in January in Raleigh is "Astronomy Days". Yes it is that time of the year again and CHAOS needs your help with our display. Last year we had our largest display ever and the visitors enjoyed it. I encourage all of you to think of a display idea , particularly one that is interactive . Activities stop people and sparks children's imaginations. Let's try to pull one child away from the PSP and interact with the 400 year old Personal Astronomical Telescope (PAT).

Once again, Happy New Year!
