Following up on tonight's monthly meeting...
NASA sponsors a program that offers some great resources to astronomy
clubs like ours.Participating clubs are listed on the website and can
take advantage of resources offered by the program.
The program offers a set of web tools to help maintain a calendar
(always the hardest thing to maintain for volunteers) as well as log
information about upcoming events and volunteer hours. The program
also provides teaching resources or toolkits with activities that
would come in handy in outreach events as well as access to training
for club members. The network also provides opportunities to stay in
contact with neighboring clubs.
CHAOS will have no problem meeting the minimum requirements. (minimum
15 members and 5 events per year).
