Just to add some interesting notes....
We were very, very busy. I setup first down towards the picnic shelter
and for some reason all the Morehead crew setup way up towards the
parking lot. So it started slow for me then wham!! Here they came. I
was mostly on the Orion Nebula but towards the end I did put in the
high mag eyepiece and show some Saturn. Also found out that the
Pleiades (another often requested one as it was right above the moon)
looks very nice in my finder scope. :)
I don't know about yall but I was getting hounded pretty good by some
folks wanting to know what just about everything in the sky was.
Tested my knowledge pretty sorely. Fortunately, the winter sky is the
one I know best. If it had been summer....yikes. :)
Really wish I had picked out a globular from my sky charts to show.
Had a long chat about clusters with a couple guys. Would have been
nice to show that one.
And Jayme, I owe you a couple AAs. Haven't forgotten.
