There at least used to be an astronomy club called the Cape Fear Astronomy
Club....
I did a search and came up with this link..
http://www.go-astronomy.com/astronomy-club.php?ID=117
......however the link on that page for the club indicates that it might not
be active...however there is a number for Ronnie Hawes......I have met him
and he is a nice fellow...........that number on the info page may be
his..........Allen Davis

Subject: [Chaos-l] Telescope help
I received this email today.
Besides Southeast Camera I don't see an astronomy shop around
Wilmington, and the nearest club seems to be Fayetteville. I've sent
Kathryn both those contacts.
Do any of you have suggestions for who she might go to for help? Or are
you looking for a good excuse to go to the coast?
Mickey
Hi,
I'm not sure if you are the person that might be able to assist me, but
I thought I would start here. I live in Wilmington, NC and have a
telescope (Tasco 450x114mm) that has been jostled so much that the
mirrors need to be realigned. Do you know of anyone that does this kind
of thing?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Sincerely,
Kathryn Finch
