[Chaos-l] Jordan Lake Observing

Morehead hosted observing at Jordan Lake's Ebenezer Church Recreation 
Area last night from 21:00-23:00.  With clearing skies, over a dozen 
scopes set up, and plenty of interested public, the night became a good 
one for starwatching. Our list of easy hits included:
-Luna (4:30am Saturday was first quarter, so we caught the first day of 
our waxing gibbous, [which by this hour is 63% of full])
-Venus
-Mars
-Saturn (with Rhea to the apparent left and Titan to the [appt] right)
Additionally, our own Jim Miller found M13 in Hercules.
I was busy with a line at my scope almost all night, so I didn't get to 
chat much with other observers in attendance.  I'm excited to hear what 
others saw as well.
