To: rtphokie at gmail.com

Hello Night Sky Network members,

Quarterly Drawing and ToolKits
InOMN Telecon July 22nd
Register Early for ASP Discount

> Quarterly Drawing and ToolKits
For all you Active Clubs: Be sure to get your second quarter events logged
by the end of the day on Monday, July 5th to qualify for the Quarterly
Prizes and increase your chance of winning a beautiful Moon Globe, in
preparation for International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) on Saturday,
September 18th! We will pick five clubs randomly from the NSN events held
between April 1 and June 30. The more events you log using NSN resources,
the better your chances. We'll hold the drawing on Tuesday, July 6th.

For those clubs that have not yet received all the ToolKits, remember you
just need to log two events in the last quarter to qualify for your next
ToolKit. Get your events logged by the 5th of July to qualify.

> InOMN Telecon July 22nd
To get you all revved up and charged for International Observe the Moon
Night (InOMN), we'll be holding a telecon on Thursday, July 22nd with Mike
Simmons. As you may remember from last year, Mike Simmons was Co-chair of
the hugely successful IYA 2009 100 Hours of Astronomy. Mike has been an
amateur astronomer for more than 35 years. 100 Hours of Astronomy was the
highest-profile and largest event of the whole year during IYA 2009.
This year the world is celebrating lunar science on September 18th with the
International Observe the Moon Night. To be included, schedule your InOMN
event now on the NSN Public Calendar.

Join the Teleconference on Thursday, July 22nd at 6:00 pm PDT (9:00 pm
Eastern) by calling the toll-free conference line:
1-888-455-9236
Call anytime after 5:45 pm the evening of the telecon. An operator will
answer and:
- You will be asked for the passcode: NIGHT SKY NETWORK
- You will be asked to give your NAME and the CLUB you belong to, and number
of people listening with you.
