Well if we did October 16th, that would be "Fall Astronomy Day". The 8th is the Draconid meteor shower, but that is also the week of the Mid-Atlantic Star Party. CHAOS attendance would be sketchy at best. So I throw my hat in for the 16th of October.

> First of all, I can't express enough how thankful Michelle and I are that you guys come out here and volunteer time and do most of the coordination, we most certainly appreciate it.  Our county program guide deadline is the 6th of July and I would love to include any dates that you guys are willing to come out and do a observation session.  October or November or both this year would be great and maybe one in the early spring before daylight savings kick in.  If you want to set a rain date that would be great too.  Whatever you guys can do will certainly be appreciated.  Now I am not sure what nights will be the best to make the effort to come out and observe, but in the past we kept it to a Friday or Saturday night.  I believe if we get a few more successful sessions in, we could really build a good following here.  We are super flexible here and willing to help out in any way.
> If this looks 'do-able' let's set a date(s), at least for the fall, so I can get it in our program guide.  Thanks again to everyone for trying to make this happen out here.  Please let me know when you get a chance or y'all can call us out here if there are any questions about anything at 732-5505. Thanks again and thanks Mickey for everything, unfortunately I know all about budget cuts.
