[Chaos-l] esa spacecraft completes flyby of large asteroid

The European Space Agency's Rosetta spacecraft, Europe's "comet
chaser" has been in space for 6+ years and today performed a flyby of
asteroid Lutetia, the largest asteroid ever visited by a satellite.
The ESA will being web-casting tonight with more information including
presentation of the first images at 23:00-23:45 CEST - (17:00 - 17:45
EST)
webcast will be available here (they are rerunning some video with
overviews of the mission and from the control room celebrations when
the signal from the spacecraft was required):
