We did the climb in daylight, arriving with just enough light.  Didn't  
take up much equipment, either, just a sleeping bag, a blanket for  
padding, and a bunch of water.  I'd thought about bringing the ETX-60,  
and  it would have been nifty to observe from their with it, but i  
decided it was not a good idea.  Good choice.  Next time i would like  
to bring some binoculars, though.
