Greetings everyone,
I went out to the viewing site for the Kids on Guard star gazing on the 24th of this month. WOW!
This is a remote viewing site. Butner is about 5 miles away and there will be minimal light pollution from
the town. I'm not sure about the prison, but my guide, Norman, says that there isn't much light that comes from there
either. The hospital uses full cutoff lights in there parking lot.
Depending on how many of us come out, there are two helicopter pads that are 15 ft by 30 foot long.
These two pads are new. The field it self is very large and wide open skies. We will be observing at the high
point in the field.
Norman and I talked for a while and I could hear absolutely no traffic where we were. There was a group of
Law enforcement officers about a quarter a mile away and we could here the laughter and the muffle talk like they were just
on the other side of the trees that were few hundred feet away.
I'm looking forward to sharing the skies with the 45 children that are attending the weekend camp. I'm also
looking forward to see just how good the skies are going to be. I know that the moon will be full, but the kids
will love to see it and Jupiter will be a big hit I'm sure.
These children are children of our military. Many have a parent over seas and some have made the ultimate
sacrifice. This is a wonderful out reach opportunity for CHAOS and a I hope we can make a great showing
for these children.
If you are interested in coming out, let me know and I will send directions and a rough agenda for the evening
activities.
Thanks and Clear Skies,
