Hi all. We have an observing session scheduled for tonight at
Farrington. The CSC shows it should be clear and transparent, with
moderate humidity. After all the rain, fields will probably be soggy,
so i plan to set up on the pavement at the east ("left") boat ramp.
Might get one last shot at the Sagitarius Milky Way, since that
location has a very good southern horizon. There's also an awful lot
of planets out tonight. Might get a shot at Venus and Mercury, near
each other at twilight. Pluto's up, but you'd need a big scope.
Neptune is on the Capricornus/Aquarius border, and Uranus is right
next to Jupiter.
Hope to see you there.
J.
