I watched the last lunar eclipse from Cary. As others have mentioned
it was partly cloudy and the moon popped in and out of the clouds
throughout the night but as it entered totality, there was some breaks
in the clouds that showed off a very coppery color.
Its worth pointing out in your article that totality will last a bit
longer this time as the moon passes through a slightly longer path in
the Earth's shadow. That eclipse also happened very early with
totality between around 10pm and 11pm.
