[Chaos-l] January 11th CHAOS meeting

Happy New Year everyone. Here we are now in the second decade of the 21st century. We must 

be having fun because it seems like we were worried about Y2K just yesterday. (although it showed up 

11 years later if you have an iphone.) ;-) 

  

Next week, January 11th is our first CHAOS meeting for 2011. Our speaker is Tony Rice and he 

is going to be talking about the "Earth Observing Satellite Fleet". 

  

We meet every second Tuesday of the Month at Carol Woods retirement community. 

Meetings begin at 7pm and go until 8:30pm. Carol Woods is located at 750 Weaver Dairy Rd. 

in Chapel Hill. 

  

As Walter Fowler pointed out, last month's meeting was so good that Sky and Telescope decided to 

feature February's magazine about the subject of our meeting. Is it coincidence? I think not. I think that we are 

not only ahead of the curve, but WE ARE THE CURVE!
