I hope you won’t mind me email on this, but I wanted you and the folks at CHAOS to know that there is an Astronomy Program at Medoc on April 29th. Robert of course knew about this, and he may have let you know.
But since I have met a number of you I want you to know that anyone in CHAOS is most welcome and indeed encouraged coming to help. The more the merrier. When the weather cooperates we can often have a very nice event. Allen Davis

Sorry about that, my computer decided to send my unfinished email. (stupid computer)
As I was saying, I am very honored that you have allowed me to continue as the club president.
I hope I serve you well.
We had 18 attendees at the meeting tonight.
Things covered were:
Dates are being set for Staunton River State Park. Stay tuned for further information.
There is a local observing opportunity at a local gathering. I'll be sending out more details shortly.
Astronomy Days are approaching, May 21st and 22nd. Come up with some booth ideas.
Tony Rice gave a talk about NASA's plans for future space probes. He explained the missions
and how NASA is considering the funding for these programs. Tony mentioned plans for science
probes being sent to Jupiter, Uranus, Io, the Moon and beyond.
It's going to be interesting how NASA pulls these missions off with a shrinking budget.
Thanks Tony!
Next month Robert Nielsen will be our speaker and he will be telling us about the NorthEastern
Astronomical Forum. Better known as NEAF. This is the big astronomical trade show. You don't
want to miss this one. You can find out what new gadgets are out there.
We'll see you next month!
