I put this together for use in a talk I gave on a shuttle launch but
thought others might enjoy playing with it as well.
http://utprosim.com/kscdashboard/
top T clock is the familiar countdown clock and is synched with KSC's
countdown clock and includes built in holds
bottom L clock is a countdown to the planned launch time and could
vary within about 30 seconds either direction. Final launch time is
set during the final built in hold at T-9 minutes.
cams brings up a matrix of webcams throughout the Kennedy Space Center
(refreshes every 30 seconds)
notam brings up details of the no fly zone over the Kennedy Space
Center (will be posted by the FAA closer to launch date)
SRB ship pos brings up the position of the 2 ships which recover the
Solid Rocket Boosters
WX1 | WX2 | WX3 are links to weather reports, radar, etc. hopefully
we wont need to look at these
landing sites brings up a map of abort landing sites.
LCC links to the launch commit critera, the ruleset NASA uses to make
those go/no-go decisions.
comms launches a window with streaming audio with radio chatter from
KSC (fire, rescue, security, sometimes even technicians working the
launch pads).
if you have VLC installed follow the link for the alternate dashboard
which embeds a streaming video window with NASA TV playing.
Keep in mind that all of the audio, video and clocks are based on
various streaming sources with various amounts of delay so dont expect
them to be synched closely, especially at T-0.
