Guys,
This is what it's all about.
I meant to do this a bit earlier, but I want all of you to know just how
great it was to have a good turnout of you folks with scopes to help out.
As you can see, it does make a difference.
Over the years, I have learned that sharing the skies through our telescopes
is the most important part of this. All of you helped make this happen and
this makes up for the times that the weather doesn't cooperate.
I had a number of people thank me, as I am sure all of you did, while the
event was going on. People love this.
And thank you Bill and Ryan, and Ed, because you have treated us so well.
We enjoy coming to Medoc, and are thankful it is there and that you folks
are willing to work with us. Allen

Subject: April 29th
I carried two grandchildren to the astronomy night on April 29th 2011 at
your park. We came from Farmville NC. Being ages 10 & 13 I had prepared
them that it was possible this could be a "bust".
Both came to me during the pitch dark and pulled on my sleeve and told me
this is not a "bust".
The words they used were "cool" and "amazing". I am 54 yrs old and would
also these were great adjectives for the event.
If possible would you please forward this email to the guys that brought the
telescopes. They deserve a lot of thanks. They did a great job.
I will look for future dates for this event because now I have two adult
children that want to see what was so cool and amazing.
Dan Thompson Farmville NC
