[Chaos-l] Last nights meeting and more

Last night's meeting was well attended by club members and guests. We had 20 people in attendance which is good 

especially the fact that club members out numbered the Carol Woods folks. 

  

Robert Nielsen gave a awesome talk about NEAF, the North Eastern Astronomical Forum. This is THE trade show 

for astronomers. Robert brought back to us pictures of equipment that we can only dream of and some that is within 

our reach. (If you save your pennies). Thanks for the presentation Robert. 

  

Coming up this month, May 21 & 22, is the annual Astronomy Days at the NC Natural Science Museum in Raleigh. 

Please send Walter Fowler an email if you are willing to man our table for a couple of hours on either day. It truly is 

a lot of fun. ( walterfowler at gmail.com ) 

  

Our club calendar is filling up with activities. Please take a look at the calendar so that you know what is happening. 

  

June 10th is an observing session at Staunton River State Park. Information is on our calendar. 

  

I'm looking for speakers again for our club meetings. If you have an interest that you are willing to talk about or know 

of some one who has an astronomical subject that they are will to present. Please let me know so I can get these presentations 

on our calendar.
