an active group in the past and hopefully there is interest on campus to get

 Hello all,

My name is Patrick Gray and I am a rising sophomore at Carolina. This year I
started a chapter of the Students for the Exploration and Development of
Space and recently discovered the now defunct SpaceTalk group. I plan on
taking that name and the group's purpose and bringing it back to the campus
and the community. I would like it to become all that SpaceTalk was and even
more. We will initially focus on bringing those interested in outer space,
its mysteries and potential for humanity, together and then move onto
inspiring that same interest in others and finally provide all of those with
this interest a place to discuss and meet and give them and the entire
Carolina community a glimpse at the exciting possibilities that await a
space-faring civilization.

If you have any interest in becoming involved, have any advice or contacts
that you believe would be beneficial for this group please let me know. My

excited about the opportunities that this club will be able to offer its
members and Carolina on the whole.
