[Chaos-l] Wallops

This link on NASA talks about the Minotaur rocket launch from the Wallops
facility in Va.  Some of us were at Medoc years ago and witnessed something
going into the air, and then green and red colors spreading across a good
chunk of the high eastern sky.  We were pretty overwhelmed by it and
wondered what we witnessed, but next day we found out that Wallops had
launched an experiment that released gases into the upper atmosphere, and we
were witnessing the ionizing of elements in the stratosphere.

This reminded me of that.  That would be an interesting thing to see, and
that pick on the link of the Minotaur rocket with the beach in the
background is very interesting.  allen
