[Chaos-l] Tonight

Right now the CSC doesn't look as good for tonight at Medoc, but I am
meeting Jason to hike at 630pm.  Probably hike for till about 800pm.  If
anyone wishes to join us please do.  Then we will see how the skies look.  I
will hang around long enough to decide.  It is nice to just get out and
enjoy the cooler evening temperatures.  

 

Glad we did get out last night and get the best of the weekend, but we'll
see how things go tonight.  Even if it's good enough early, I'll set up to
get a look at Saturn.   It was also quite exceptional even though it was low
last night.

 

Robert mentioned the bolide we saw...that was what I forgot in my earlier
"report".  It was an unusually bright meteor breaking up into three
pieces...with a couple of bright flashes..in the low eastern sky.  Not too
long after dark I don't think.  allen
