The clear sky clock is saying that the clouds are suppose to clear off by the time 

the observing session is to start. Transparency going to be poor so the Moon 

and Saturn will be the primary objects to look at. Seeing says it will be below average to 

average by the end. 

  

I'm looking at several CSC both in Virginia and North Carolina. They vary quite a 

bit as far as seeing is concerned. 

  

So with all of that being said. I am planning on going up SRSP and keep my fingers 

crossed. The observing has been starting off not so great to not too bad by the time I leave. 

The CSC is showing that to be the case tonight on several areas. 

  

The Park manager is going to be there and so it will be partly a business  trip to 

discuss September's CHAOS weekend.
