[Chaos-l] Club picnic

Greetings everyone, 

  

I talked with Walter to see how this past meeting went and he told me that it went well. 

He also told me that there was questions about the club picnic, particularly was it a separate 

event from the observing session up at Staunton River. 

  

The answer to that is, Yes, it is a separate event. We are trying to firm up a date and email will 

be sent out as soon as we can get a set date and place. I'm very happy to hear that there is great anticipation 

for the picnic. Keep a close eye here. 

  

Stuanton River is a 4 day event for CHAOS to be set and enjoying dark skies. We are permitted to stay with 

our scopes on the grassy clearing. You do not have to be there all 4 days, you can come and spend the weekend. 

Staunton River has wonderful facilities and an eager staff to help us have a great time. So please come and enjoy. 

  

There will be a small park fee and I will let you know how much that will be. It will not be much.
