[Chaos-l] Hoping

Well, I hope that Irene doesn't cause us too much problem around here or
where you folks are.  We are under a high wind warning tomorrow here, and
are supposed to get quite a bit of rain.  The creek at Medoc was
depressingly low...when we hike the other day...and the rain is definitely
needed, but of course not at one time!  But we don't have anything to do
with how we get this.  I hope the creek will go up there and save the fish
and whatever else is in the water.

 

And I hope there isn't too much damage on the coast, but  there is likely to
be more with this storm than what we've seen recently.  I was down at
Ocracoke a couple of weeks ago, and also at Wright  brothers Monument a week
ago today.  I remember thinking that one day a storm was going to come along
and take away some of what man has built so close to the water.  I hope it
doesn't happen this time.  Especially down the Outer Banks toward Hatteras
etc.  Stuff right on the beach.
