Here is some information about Staunton River. If you have any further questions, please ask, I'll add it to the sheet.

The Boy Scout troop that I was hoping to come up and help us out with food has unfortunately declined. So we are currently on our

own as far as food is concerned. I will bring some charcoal so folks can grill burgers and such.

I am trying to find another source for food on site, but this year may end up like MASP and we are on our own. There is a little

mom and pop shop not far from the park. They do have food there, I'm just not sure as to what kind as far as fresh meat and main staples.

I know you can get candy bars and soda there. The park does have a snack bar. Wal-Mart and other food places are about 15

miles away, but that is do to the fact that we are at the end of the road.

The $20/day that the park charges if you rent one of their camp sites, is for tent camping, not RV.

Again, this is flying by the seat of my pants, if you have any questions, please ask away. Let's get together while we're there and discuss

how to improve the experience for next year.
