I had a nice night last night down in the pasture.

Started out viewing the supernova in M101 - it was still really
evident in my 18er.  Better get your glimpses in on this one before
its gone into the sunset.
I used that finder chart that Alan put up here last month - piece of
cake at 100x

Seeing was really steady - grabbed the central star in the Ring Nebula
and once Jupiter cleared the trees, it was outstanding!

Also got in some of the last views of the season on the Swan Nebula -
with the filter slide and the 18" scope, that nebula really comes
alive.  Lots of fun to see what each filter emphasizes.  It even
responds well to the H-beta.

Wrapped up the night with a tour of some nice globs.

Got other commitments this weekend and can't make Medoc, but if
weather holds, I'll be down in the pasture this weekend.
