[Chaos-l] Tonight

Enjoyed some surprisingly good deep sky views before the moon and even
during moon rise.  The seeing wasn't great early, but Jupiter actually
looked terrific before we left around 1100pm.  

 

There was a is a runners event, a marathon tomorrow at Medoc, and about 25
folks came over from the campground to join us and they seemed really
thrilled.  It is really nice to have the Macbook now with Sky Safari . it
adds a lot to a presentation and also has a wealth of info at your
fingertips to help answer questions.  Folks were just literally gasping at
views of M15 and Jupiter.  

 

Seeing improved as night went on..but had to leave a bit early.  I may try
to go tomorrow night again if anyone is interested.  Let me know.
