The map shows it as accessed through the Equestrian area of the  
Fairgrounds.  That area doesn't strike me as likely to be Dark under  
any circumstances, but if shielded from direct lighting, and when  
there's not an Event at the Fairgrounds or the Arena or the Stadium  
or the...

Aw, heck.  It's an Urban Astronomy site.  Nothing wrong with that, as  
long as you have your expectations set appropriately.  It's certainly  
within reach of a lot of population, and if nothing else could yield  
some Light Pollution Teaching Moments.

I'll probably be in either Burgaw or Altavista that weekend.
