[Chaos-l] Aurora Timelapse from Michigan 10-24-11

Yep ... the aurora was one of the highlights last night at the first night of MASP.  The sky was red up to between 30 and 40 degrees ... with some bright white spikes for a bit.   Kinda cool that it happened at a star party!   We all just backed up (almost to the pond ... if you've been here) and watched in amazement!

One of the attendees found this YouTube video of the aurora from Michigan ... I think we saw the red flash.
