I just plotted the path on Sky Safari......i found the asteroid with a
search and then centered. Then I hit time forward. It was really really
NEAT to see it track across the display, try it if you have Sky Safari Plus
or Pro.

I updated my minor body data while ago also. allen

Well, a few things are going to make it difficult:

1) Tomorrow night is the Carol Woods observing session ... not a dark site
2) The moon is pretty close to full (97% illuminated)
3) While S&T says it is mag 11, some say it is "coal black"
4) Various reports say the ephemera will change slightly as it passes

But the Clear Sky Clock is predicting good conditions, so we'll just have to
take a shot. I'm planning on dragging The Mistress out tomorrow to the
meeting ...
