We felt the warmth from the fire all the way down on the observing field!!!

Had a nice night.  Bruno and I observed until around 1:30, chilled by
the fire until around 2:00 then went off to bed.

Got woken up by a running club meeting at the pick-nick area for a
trail run.  All of them also appriciated Jason's fire - yup it was
still going at 8:00
